Cochin is a city in the Indian province of Kerala. Kochi or Cochin is prevalently known as the Queen of Arabian Sea, likewise displays one of the finest regular harbours on the planet. Known for its amazing sea views, Ayurveda treatments, and teak wooden houseboat tours along the backwaters. The state has a great mix of beach and jungle, like Goa, but is a less touristy. Roaming around the Western Ghats you’ll see fields of rice paddies, coconut groves, and elephants. There is a national park here and you get to see tigers, pythons, panthers, and monkeys to name a few.

You will have a walk around fort Cochin, starting with the Synagogue. The area around the synagogue is known as “Jew town” and is one of Kochi’s spice trading centres. We also stop at Mattancherry Dutch Palace which was built by the Portuguese and presented to the Maharaja of Cochin in 1568. Proceeding ahead, visit St. Francis Church; the first church to be built in India by the Portuguese. After visiting Santa Cruz Cathedral, enjoy strolling on the beachside viewing the life at Chinese fishing nets.
